In this house the Living Room was expanded to make it more spacious. French Doors leading in the back yard allowed more light in. Kitchen was opened into the living room, creating the feeling of the wide open space.

It is very important to provide structural stability of the addition, and match the new section with the existing house. On the inside this room was done to match the rest of the interior style.
Other Examples of Additions
This Section and the one behind it were not part of the original floor plan, but part of he backyard. The floor plan of the house was increase by almost 2500 sq.ft. by the end of the project. Dark stained wooden panels and beams gave this room a "classic" look.
